STATEMENT OF CONFIDENTIALITY
As professional school counselors, our goal is to maintain strict confidentiality when it comes to students and parents at Walnut Ridge Elementary School. All meetings held with the school counselor will remain confidential unless any student or parent gives permission to share information with related parties.
However, circumstances do arise when we must disclose information to appropriate professionals based on Arkansas state law and Lawrence County School District policy. Our ultimate goal is to keep all children at WRES safe from harm. Reasons for reporting include the following:
