LEA ANDRA FOSTER - MATH

Mu Alpha Theta is a National High School Mathematics Honor Society dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in mathematics, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics among high school.

Our purpose is to celebrate scholarship in and enjoyment of mathematics among students who excel mathematics enrolled in Walnut Ridge Public Schools.

Current members of Mu Alpha Theta should seek opportunities to encourage and promote math education within our community. 

WRHS students interested in joining Mu Alpha Theta must meet the following membership requirements:

1. Completed at least 4 semester of high school math, starting with Algebra I
2. Have a cumulative math grade point averge (g.p.a.) of 3.25 or higher
3. Be currently enrolled in a math course

Eligible WRHS students interested in beoming a member of Mu Alpha Theta should submit a completed membership application to Mrs. Foster by the posted deadline.
